On New Year’s Day, Jos Leijdekkers, a notorious international cocaine trafficker known as ‘Bolle Jos,’ was seen attending Mass with government officials at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tihun Town, Sogbini Chiefdom, Bonthe District.
The New Year’s mass received a lot of attention because it was attended by President Julius Maada Bio and several high-ranking government officials.
Leijdekkers, 32, was recently sentenced on June 25 by a Rotterdam court for his role in smuggling over 7 tonnes of cocaine, making him one of the Netherlands’ most wanted criminals.
A spokesperson for the Dutch prosecutor’s office confirmed that Leijdekkers has been in Sierra Leone for at least six months, raising questions about his activities and connections.
Na case dis. Na for peenee normo. Papa God, duya ep we lae dis stop now, lae we country nor cam get di kine reputation war Nigeria get. Ar beg, ep we. E don do so. If this happened in Freetown, I would say random, he possibly just happened to be attending the same service as government officials, including the president, who stole elections, so he is illegitimate, but how in heaven’s name does he happen to be at the same service as government officials, in some remote village? And this at a time when it seems new week, new drug case? Papa God, lek ar say, duya.

The January 2023 nightclub shooting.. This was the Norwegian Turkish businessman.
Barter him for Adebayo? So, you propose holding on to a notorious cocaine trafficker? I am sure it will be easy, since he his partners with government officials and has stories to tell, but we are not bartering him for anybody. We just hand him over. Any resistance to handing him over if a request is made is confirmation of government officials’ involvement in the drug trade, which we alrwady know to be the case. Funny just this week, our ambassador to Guinea was accused of drug trafficking and other than telling us they will be transparent, we haven’t heard anything. Why? And in case you are too obtuse to realize it, Adebayo has not committed any crime in Sierra Leone, so he is not a fugitive that the Dutch will just hand over. They are actually a country of laws, real laws, not a country that believes people should be arrested because they criticize government officials. Your thieving president Bio has committed crimes against us. Let’s barter for him. As far as Adebayor being handed over, good luck with that.
