In an emotionally charged acceptance speech during the first sitting of the Sixth Parliament, the newly-elected Speaker, Hon. Dr. Abass Bundu, delivered a passionate plea to all Members of Parliament (MPs) to put aside their differences and fulfill their responsibilities to the people who entrusted them with their votes.
Addressing a packed parliamentary chamber after the oath-taking and election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Abass Bundu emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation among all political parties.
He stated that it would be an unforgivable act of betrayal if members of the All People’s Congress (APC) failed to attend the proceedings of the new parliament.
“Staying aloof from the proceedings of the Sixth Parliament is a betrayal of the people’s trust and an unforgivable act. The people voted for you, and it is your duty to come and represent them faithfully,” Speaker Bundu asserted with conviction.
He extended an olive branch to the APC Members of Parliament, urging them to join the parliamentary session on the next adjourned date and actively participate in the democratic process. Stressing the significance of addressing their differences internally, he called upon all MPs to find common ground without relying solely on external intervention.
Speaker Bundu expressed his profound gratitude to the government of Sierra Leone for independently funding and successfully conducting the June 24th Elections, which garnered wide acceptance across the nation.
In his poignant address, the Speaker also touched upon the historical context of African independence and the legacy of colonialism. Drawing attention to past struggles where the fate of the African continent was dictated by external powers, he noted that despite gaining independence, the influence of entities like the European Union and the United States of America in determining electoral outcomes still looms large.
While acknowledging the challenges that African nations face in ensuring full sovereignty, Speaker Bundu urged his fellow lawmakers and citizens to work together to overcome these obstacles and assert the nation’s independence on the global stag

If you want you say what ever, but this APC will take part in any crook or rouge elections result, until Konneh respond to their demands . So pls just shut up and run your one party state if u can . Let see where u end.

Mr.socalled speaker,please lecture your superior(Maadaand Konneh)to give account of citizens votes,before talking about peace,or calling the opposition to work with you guys.Looking the way you guys treated the opposition in the previous administration when they had the majority in parliament, you bulldoze them with all your dubious tricks to passed laws that will favor your party.It will be a suicide for them to go to parliament now when you guys have corruptly taken all seats in parliament with almost 2/3 majority.I wonder what the opposition will do or say when you want to pass any legislation that they will not favor.It will be a political suicide for them.

Dr. You are elderly, highly educated, with a lot of experience and so, many people expect the best from you.
However, at your age, education and wealth of experience, you allow an idiot, a human rights violator, a killer of innocent people and an Undemocratic man like Maada Bio to manipulate you as he wishes. Shame on you. Nobody will forever you.

Dr., the APC party members will not participate in an illegitimate parliament of stolen seats and stolen democratic rights ( Votes ) of the people of Sierra Leone.
Dr. as an elder, you could have advised Maada Bio to see reason and to understand that the people of Sierra Leone have spoken loudly that they want a change. Maada Bio is no longer needed as a leader.
Maada Bio does not love /like this country. Maada Bio started killing innocent people since 1992 when he was head of the Execution Team of the NPRC junta government.
Within the last five years in office, Maada Bio has killed more than five hundred innocent people in this country.
Maada Bio has a lot of blood in his hands.
Dr.you must be Honest, Bold and Open to your Boss ( Maada ) to tell him the Truth that he did not win the elections conducted by Konneh. Konneh only pronounce him winner because of threats; on his life.
Maada Bio and Konneh refused to publish the results according to polling stations and polling centers with the RRF forms signed by all the staff at every polling station and polling center.
Dr. If you cannot do it, please keep quiet and enjoy the money you have accumulated through evil means.

What I want to say here is this, let the Electoral Commission count the votes of everyone in this country like how former Christiana Thorpe did during the past elections period. So that all these issues may resulve, and even we the citizens may have trust to ourselves without even the intervention of foreign people. But without our leaders of trust shows honesty and transparency to we the citizens we can never and ever take you as people of integrity to lead us.

I guess your problem is that ‘your supply line has or is running dry and/or your stay in these countries is likely in jeopardy, you’d not made good use of your time in these countries partly because you were brought and dumped illegally.
