Four Female students at Fourah Bay College (FBC), University of Sierra Leone, have been expelled after a video of them fighting on campus went viral on social media.

The expulsions were announced by the university’s Disciplinary Committee, which investigated a total of 14 disciplinary cases during the 2023/2024 academic year.

According to a university notice, some students were expelled, while others faced rustication (suspension) for one or two years.

The notice listed the names of the expelled students and served as a reminder to all students of the rules and regulations governing their conduct on campus.

The university advised students to avoid situations that could lead to disciplinary action.
