The action filed by Paul Kamara and Rev. Alimamay Coleson Turay against the Electoral Commission πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡±, Dr. Samura Kamara and the APC Party has been struck out for non-compliance with the Rule 90(1) of the Supreme Court Rules, Public Notice No.1 of 1982.

The Judiciary of Sierra LeoneΒ  further revealed that “a certificateΒ  of Non-compilanceΒ  having been issuedΒ  on the 29th , 2023, the originating Notice ofΒ  Motion fieldΒ  on the 17th May, 2023 by the said applicants, Paul M. Kamara and Rev. AlimamayΒ  Coleson Turay against the Chief ElectoralΒ  CommissionerΒ  [1st Respondent, Dr. Samura Kamara [3rd Respondent} and all theΒ  AllΒ  People’s Congress [4th Respondent] isΒ  HerebyΒ  deemed to have beenΒ  struck out , PursuantΒ  to Rule 90 [3]Β  of the aforementionedΒ  Supreme Court Rules

The former APC Sports Minister Paul Kamara andΒ  Rev. Alimamy ColesonΒ  Turay earlierΒ  filed 3Β  grounds of Objection to APC’sΒ  Samura KamaraΒ  at the Supreme Court. Pages of the affidavits surfaced onlineΒ  with signature of Paul Kamara and Lawyer CharlesΒ  Pujeh.

The struck out of the petition is believed to serve as aΒ  great sigh of relief to the APC as the country geared towards the June 24 elections.
