The newly appointed Minister of State and Principal Assistant at the office of the Vice President, Manty Tarawallie has committed her support to the Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh.

Madam Tarawalli who was the former minister of Gender and Children’s Affairs made this commitment in a tweet on her official Twitter account.

She stated that she is excited and willing in supporting the Vice President achieve President Bio’s agenda in his second term of governance.

She also stated that her appointment is an opportunity of tremendous opportunity and an honor of great confidence bestowed on her by the President.

President Bio, earlier this week, announced his first set of Cabinet Ministers and other senior appointments.

Tarawalli is among a handful of female Ministers appointed by the President in recognition of the Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (GEWE) Act.
