Ministry of Tourism Launches The Tourism For All Campaign in Port Loko District
Mohamed Aruna The Minister Of Tourism And Cultural Affairs, Nabeela Farida Tunis has on the 6th June 2024 launched the tourism for all campaign in the north west region, Portloko District.
The minister expressed appreciation over the way the people of the district received them in a happy mood which shows willingness in accept the campaign and making a good outcome of the event.
She emphasized the importance of the unity among every sierra Leonean regardless of tribe, region or religion as everyone contribute to the growth and development of the country in diverse ways which means there must be peace and national cohesion at every interval.
She underscored the importance of the launch of the campaign in Maforki Chiefdom in Port Loko district, which has a lot to showcase in terms of cultural and tourism values.
She encouraged all the present to take the launch very important as well as making the sector very proactive in bringing out very important cultural and tourism related initiatives for the betterment of not just the district but the country at large. She emphasized the need of brining tourism closer to the people in making them feel belong and take up responsibilities on their own.
She reiterated her total commitment to improving the sector and called on all to work harder in achieving that within the shortest possible time in the country.
