A new tourist attraction is currently under construction at Leicester Peak in Sierra Leone.
The project is led by the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Affairs with funding from the World Bank.
It is designed to support local tourism and give both visitors and residents a fresh experience.
The site will feature an observation deck and a relaxation area where people can enjoy wide 180-degree views of the city.
Once completed, the facility will also be used for small events and meetings, creating a new space for social and business gatherings. It will include a restaurant, a gift shop, and a comfortable lounge area, offering a mix of leisure, dining, and shopping in a scenic setting.
Support from the world bank? When are we going to be independent and do things on our own without involving the westerns in between? Slavery still continue, the same way they used to locked heavy chains round their necks and feets then threw them into the ocean, still existing in the name of support. Invisible chairs on our citizens to the graves. They are really suffering to pay for such an agreement. Think and grow rich with your citizens and build up your country out of it own wealth 💯% 🤔😔😭
