Sierra Leone’s Minister of Lands, Housing and Country Planning, Dr. Turad Senesie, has on Tuesday March 28, 2023 during an outreach meeting held at the Head Office of the Sierra Leone Commercial Motor Bikes Riders Union at Up Gun in Freetown, disclosed that, President Bio is working assiduously towards the establishment of a Micro-City.
The said Micro-city will be inhabited by the current crop of Commercial Motorbikes and Tricycle Riders – Okada and Kekeh Riders respectively, adding that, they were close to the heart of the President, who values their struggles and partnership in national development.
“We have secured and properly planned plots of State Land to be allocated to Okada/Kekeh Riders through the land raffle model as a first step towards the establishment of an Okada/Kekeh Micro-City,”
The Minister maintained that the State will ensure the identified community is well demarcated and planned with all basic social amenities including roads, schools, hospital and recreational centres for the benefit of Sierra Leoneans.
He called on the riders to register in their numbers to participate in the most transparent, fair and credible raffle that will make them become land owners in Sierra Leone as this is the time for the riders to benefit from the national cake after successfully giving lands to the security sector, medical practitioners, teachers/lecturers, journalists, civil servants and more through the land raffle model.
The National President of the Sierra Leone Commercial Motor Bikes Riders Union Mr. Umaru Talie Bah and his entire executive praised the Minister for this initiative while thanking the President for considering them as partners in development. They promised to make good use of this opportunity and to always be responsibly in maintaining the peace of the this country.
This is a welcome news to embrace the move of the government of sierra Leone. Each and every citizens should have right to our national cake. It’s shows transparency and love from our leaders in government. I’m appealing to the ministry of planing to plan this micro city so that it’s will be beautiful city just like other in Africa

Na campaign strategy we done used to politicians for them promises , we tired for yeri stories na politicians Dem mot.
This is absolutely nonsense means of campaign after failing the nation, now this government is trying to use the mindset of people through plot of lands, this is a cheap system of politics.
There is no state land in sierra leone especially in freetown municipality which isn’t occupied by sierra Leoneans through purchase or had labor development.
This SLPP government has failed us than any other government in the history of sierra leone. Condition of living for sierra leoneans is worse, therefore don’t take advantage on other citizens to please your greedy ambition, the state land law clearly indicate that being a citizens of sierra leone, you are automatically qualify to get a plot of land through the ministry of Lands Housing and Country Planing.
Please Mr minister stop deceiving citizens.
Besides, this action will easily cement your way out of office, because you and your SLPP government is planning to let sierra Leoneans fight themself as well as crying for the very last time.
My advice for you and the president is to use tractor’s and develop area’s that are undeveloped instead of taking advantage on sierra Leoneans for another sierra Leoneans.

If it’s not really base on recognition it is a good plan for this country,we want things like this to happen , because mama saline na we all yon.

Good news for all citizen
It is clear and definite that politics is a dirty game, which mean making a believe with the intent to deceive….. Politicians are failing to understand that there is an affirmative change in the mentality of the least sierra leonean to be carried away with such a cheap politics, to provoke us to shame…… Actually, if you’re truly mindful of such project, it would have started one year ago before the coming of election, and not by recognition…… Presently, politicians can easily intimidate us by actions, not by words…… However, your governance have done their level best which can be kindly recognized by patriotic citizen’s of this country as well.
