One of the leading banks in Sierra Leone, United Bank for Africa (UBA) has opened a branch at Adonkia in the Western Rural District.

The opening was graced by government officials and high dignitaries like The Nigerian High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, His Excellency Mr. Henry John Omaku (FCIM), the Chief Minister of the Republic of Sierra Leone Mr. Jacob Jusu Saffa humbly represented by his lovely wife, Honourable Member of Parliament representing Constituency 110, Hon. Kadijah Davies, the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Sierra Leone other representatives from the Central Bank, Chairman of the Board UBA Sierra Leone Mr. Abdul Kargbo and other Board Members, members of the press and esteem UBA customers and staff graced the occasion.
