The training focused on the Sierra Leone Police and the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces to identify and protect women against violence in elections.

The training was started in the western urban and western rural areas.

This training is coupled with many others that will help the security sector greatly in dispensing their duties with respect to the human rights and regulations to ensure a very peaceful atmosphere at all times in the country.
