In a recently conducted Mid-year Review Meeting held by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Sierra Leone, Sayed Sahibzada, the Deputy Representative for the program emphasized the need for total collaboration among all partners to bring a positive and sustainable change for every Sierra Leonean.

The UNDP has been very key in collaborating with other partners including the UN Peacebuilding and Global Namiti to effect stakeholders’ engagement towards achieving and promoting a reasonable and responsible land acquisition in the country.

Sabibzada stressed that there is a need for the team to work together in stabilizing their efforts and maintain their total goals.

She noted that the meeting centered around evaluating the progress made by UNDP and how they should discuss strategic points and areas to focus on in the coming months.
