The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has concluded a productive meeting with the head of the European Union in Sierra Leone on rural development and infrastructure.
The head of the of Rural and Infrastructural Development at the European Union Holger Rommen made positive contribution and their zeal to working with other bodies and partner as well as the government of Sierra Leone in promoting rural and infrastructural development.
The Resident Coordinator for the UNDP, Fredric Ampiah maintained that their discussions ranged around the innovative renewable energy solutions to empower rural communities in Sierra Leone.
UNDP also communicated that they have played host to the AfDP Group during their mission to assess progress towards their CSP outcomes in Sierra Leone.
There were exchanged insights on sustainable development and explored strategies to drive positive change in the country. They revealed that, they are excited about the many opportunities supported by their team for sierra Leonean youths in the digital space.
