The University of Makeni (UniMak) has extended the sale of application forms pending further notice, providing additional time for prospective students to apply.

Shebora Samba Kamara, Public Relations Officer, Unimak, said the extension was made in response to the growing demand for enrollment at the university.

Kamara further said the adjustment of the initial closing date, which was scheduled for September 30, 2024, aims to provide additional opportunities for prospective students to enroll.

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the University of Makeni opened the online portal for applications for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses for the opening 2024/25 Academic Year, facilitating enrollment in the three campuses: Fatima Campus – Makeni, Slyvanus Koroma Campus – Yoni, and St John of God Campus – Lunsar.

The university encouraged interested individuals to visit any Eco Bank branch nationwide to obtain an application pin. The cost of the pins varies according to the level of study:
– Le 850.00 for Undergraduate courses
– Le 1,500.00 for Masters programs
– Le 2000.00 for PhD courses
