United States Costal Guard has trained 30 members of the Sierra Leone Maritime Security sector on search and rescue operations in the ocean and respond to an oil spill.
During the training, participants discussed how to create an ordered and structured response during such high-stakes and nerve-wracking events.
According to the US Costal Guard, they are honored to collaborate and build preparedness for potential future events that could threaten the marine environment, and congratulated the participants on their hard work.
