The United States Embassy in Sierra Leone Bids farewell to 2023 Full Bright Scholars who have left Sierra Leone to pursue fully funded master’s degree in the United States.

Among the fortunate were Francis Momoh, MA in Anthropology, Beatrice Momodu Kamara, MA in Public Affairs, and Alie Vandi Tarawally, MPH in Public Health will be in the U.S. for the next two years studying in different universities.

The United States Embassy stated in their Facebook page that “Every year, the U.S. Embassy sends a minimum of 47 Sierra Leoneans to the United States on different cultural exchange programs. This is an example of the United States’ commitment to empowering the next generation of Sierra Leonean leaders.”
