The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has given early notification to the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), informing the Ministry and other stakeholders, such as the National Council of Heads of Teachers (NaCOHT) and the Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools (CPSS) of the low entries for NPSCE and BECE 2023.
This notice is to spur the Minister of Basics and Senior Secondary Education led by Dr. David Moinina Sengeh, he President of the National Council of Heads of Teachers (NaCOHT), Samuel Koroma, and all the stakeholders to charged schools who have not submitted the list of their candidates to do so.
It also request that the President of the Conference of Principals of Secondary Schools, Mrs Ophelia Morrison work with other partners in education with the view of monitoring, addressing the issues that gave caused this delay and utilise the extension given till 17th February, 2023 to register for the 2023 NPSE and BECE examinations.
