The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the introduction of a new “Resit Public Exams” policy in 2025.
This initiative allows students who fail a few subjects to retake only those specific papers instead of repeating the entire examination process.
The decision aims to ease the burden on candidates and improve access to certification for students who narrowly miss passing all their subjects. WAEC expressed optimism that the policy will encourage more students to complete their exams successfully.
WOW really,if that’s the case am impressed
Good news
A good initiative.
Good news for the country
Wow 😲 it’s really a nice 🙂 thing I only hope 🤞 that it’ll be effective, sustainable
But my question now is if a have sat and couldn’t get what she/him want (subjects) when she/him decides to resit is going to be a making new results or the old results will be just be rearrange?
What about the fees?
If I have one or two subjects to complete, am I going to pay the same fees like the beginners?
Are they going to start it this year or when?
