Sierra Leone’s Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Moinina Sengeh has announced that 99.7% WASSCE results will be released this week.
The minister made the announcement on a social media post.
“99.7% of WASSCE results will be released this week (the rest are withheld for various anomalies),” Minister Sengeh posted.
He added that, “This is by far one of the best national performances in recent history. Transformation is possible if we decide we want it!”

We thank our able noble minister Mr. Sengeh for his job well done. May the Lord continue to guide and protect him. For my own opinion , he is the best minister in president Bio’s governance .
Hmmm! This wassce, there is nothing to write home about, because the students (more than 80% wrote it with their phones. I’m not saying the minister told them to do so. Of cause Dr Senghe has tried but if you need my personal opinion : this wassce result does not reflect progress on the side of our students. The government is trying for us really. Parents, teachers, waec officials etc. need to put hands on deck to make it work.
