I extend my warmest congratulations on the recent election of President Julius Maada Bio as the new Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). His leadership comes at a pivotal moment for our region, as ECOWAS navigates significant political and security challenges, including the departure of three member states, amid a rapidly evolving global landscape.
