Congo Cross Police Division.
According to report, LAJ and some of his crew members were arrested after the former failed to pay for fuel pumped price into his vehicle.
They allegedly assaulted and wounded the pump attendants at the LEONCO filling station at Water Street, Congo Cross Police Division.
LAJ and crew were chased by the police and we’re caught along Kissy Road in east end Freetown and are still in Police cells.
Latest reports are that she LAJ and his family are pleading with the filling station owner for an out of court settlementn, the police have said they will charge the matter to court.
Meanwhile, the police have informed the public that the government of Sierra Leone has nothing to do with LAJ’s arrest despite one of his crew members accused a south-eastern ethnic group of machinating the hip hop rapper’s arrest for political reasons
“According to report”, why can’t you make you source known to the public so as to know whether the story is true or false. Thus, according to my observation, this news story is one sided. As a journalist, you’re required to give opportunity to both sides to put forth their statements, and present them to the public as received for the public to make their judgements…
However, as far as am concern as a Journalism student, having gone through your news story, I want to express my dissatisfaction for not being abjective in gathering your story.
