Popular co-host of the AYV/ Africell Housemates Salone Reality TV show Phebean Swill has disclosed the reason for her absent during the season’s Final on Sunday 17th July 2022

The housemate Salone finale was held on sunday 17th July, 2022 at the Africa Young Voices compound, the usual venue for evictions. However, besides the pomp, chaotic supporters and competitive jeerings, a repetitive question was regarding the absence of the co-host of evictions, Phebean Swill.

Phebean Swill has been a constant co-host with Africell’s John Konteh until the finale and viewers had come to relate the Sunday show with the two faces. Her absence had therefore sparked debate on what could have happened.

The truth of her absence was made known by herself and it proved to not be as nefarious as speculated. In a social media post on instagram, she stated that she was in Washington DC where she attended the Alumni Enrichment Institutes for the Mandela Washington fellows 2022.

Phebean had been selected as a fellow in 2021 but had to perform their fellowship virtually. This year she and another Sierra Leonean fellow Tamba Sangbah were selected to take part in an in-person Alumni Enrichment Institute program as a result of their outstanding performance during their virtual fellowship participation last year.
