The Minister of Youth Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Sannoh, visited the headquarters of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party on June 6, 2025, in what he described as a groundbreaking step towards national unity and inclusive youth development.
Hon. Minister Sannoh met with young people affiliated with the APC, emphasizing his commitment to serving all Sierra Leonean youth, regardless of their political affiliation.

“This visit is not about politics; it is about purpose. As Minister for all young people, I believe it’s time to rise above party lines and focus on nation-building through youth empowerment,” he said.

He further pledged to write officially to the APC Youth Wing, seeking a formal meeting to deepen engagement and collaboration. Despite the APC being in opposition, the Minister affirmed that their youth must be seen and heard as part of the national governance process.

“As minister of youth, I will continue to set the tone for a new generation of leadership, where inclusion is not a slogan but a practice.” He stated.
