Sierra Leonean Artist, Entrepreneur, CEO of the Big Sister Salone Show and the ‘Mamie na Power’, Zainab Sheriff has taken to Facebook to speak on the challenging situation young men of Sierra Leone are faced with.
In her post on Facebook, the Mamie na power highlighted some of the struggles our young Sierra leonean brothers are passing through and gave reasonable advice to the general public.
See her post below:
“The youth Men of Sierra Leone are suffering from neglect in silence.
Most of them have been abused in all sorts of ways,
Some of them have to steal, and then get beat up to death by their fellow youth Men,
Some of them venture into the transportation business but the police and society treat them with less regard and contempt,
Crime and drugs are their last resort out of frustration, some are even into male prostitution, sleeping with both genders to survive.
The youth men of Sierra Leone are not feeling the love or care that they desire in their silent hearts, from the society they belong to, they are rather neglected, judged, mocked, and ridiculed.
If you have a young brother out there, please look out for him, these are trying times for our young men.”
