After the All People’s Congress (APC) court order that led to the formation of the Interim Transition Governance Commitment (ITGC) and the 21- Man Committee to steer the political activities of the APC as a party, the intra-party wrangling continues, a reason some stakeholders of the party have come together to restore in-house party sanity and pave the way for smooth party operations.

The Alfred Peter Conteh vs. the APC court ruling was received with mixed feelings by APC party stakeholders, supporters and sympathizers, but for the sake of party progress, the ruling was accepted. But by all indications, the Peter Conteh faction doesn’t seem to be working well with the other members of the 21-man Committee.

Even two members of the Peter Conteh side of the 21- man Committee have been sacked by Peter Conteh for not doing as expected. But Peter Conteh should know that cooperation with all in the 21-man Committee for the progress of the APC is the way to go. After all, Peter Conteh went to court to correct what he thinks is wrong in the APC. And after the court ruling, Peter Conteh as ITGC chairman she’d work in the interest of a political party he claims to love.

Because the 21-man Committee headed by Peter Conteh is yet to bring about the much-needed resumption of significant party activities like the all-important APC National Delegate conference to be ready for the 2023 crucial elections, the APC as a party the different intra-party groups and the general membership, supporters and sympathizers want the APC Party to be a party on the political road to the 2023 election. And Peter Conteh and those holding out for the resumption of normal political activities have to somehow allow for normal APC Party activities.

The main opposition APC political tide is turning against Peter Conteh, who has to flow with the waves or risk political drowning because the APC as a party has to continue with its agenda whether an individual politician agrees or not.
