Since his appointment to the position of Inspector General of Sierra Leone Police, William Fayia Sellu has brought about massive reformation and transformation to the SLP.

He has brought back lost sanity in the way and manner SLP vehicles were being misused and mismanaged by installing a GPS tracking system into every SLP vehicle so that the SLP would know where every police vehicle is at any point in time.

He is also working assiduously to reduce the crime rate which had been rising in recent months. He is ensuring that traffic police are constantly monitored and reprimanded to reduce corruption and complaints from drivers and riders about traffic police.

Indeed, his appointment by President Julius Maada Bio is no mistake, as he is working steadfastly to accomplish the vision and goals of H.E. by transforming and reforming the SLP to make it a better disciplined, attractive and proactive force when it comes to securing lives and properties.

He has instilled a fresh sense of hope, purpose, dignity and loyalty within the rank and file of the SLP and is doing his level best to ensure he brings the SLP to international standard. He has digitalized the SLP accounts and other systems and is ensuring that all past backlogs of rice and other matters are taken care of in record time.
