As the fast-approaching June 24th, 2023 elections draw near, 410 supporters of the NGC party have recently declared their support for the APC party.
The declaration event, which was held at the APC headquarters in Freetown, was attended by prominent figures such as the former PRO, NGC Students President, Pa Dauda in Dwarzack, a veteran leader, and hundreds of others.
According to the former NGC supporters, their decision to switch parties was motivated by their desire to serve God and their country, and not for personal gain.
At the event, the new APC supporters were presented with certificates of acceptance, APC T-shirts, and were warmly welcomed by the National Chairman of the APC, Hon. Minkailu Mansaray.
Arthur Pearce was officially included in the party’s publicity wing, while the other members will be part of the campaign teams in their respective locations.
The only thing the APC’s are good at is propaganda news.
We’re talking about 173,000 Voters across the country only within a single locality you gathered 410 people with money and you shamefully put it on air.
What a shame….this will not help yourself or even the party at stake.
APC is a good government but one thing am tell them, the party in losing unity and the whole of lokomasama chiefdom are moving to SLPP because of unity and people choice
*ARTHUR PEARCE ADDS NO VALUE TO OUR MIGHTY APC‼️*
By John S. Koroma
One would expect our APC party leadership to realize by now that we need to focus on rallying our supporters, empowering our young leaders who have been with us through thick and thin, and preparing our campaign strategy. Disappointingly, our APC leaders seem to be distracted by irrelevant matters, like Arthur Pearce, and copying what SLPP has been doing.
Why should our APC give so much attention to someone like Arthur Pearce, someone who is irrelevant to APC at this time? How are we not able to see that Arthur is positioning himself in our party to use our resources and platform for his own self-interest? Did we forget so soon how Arthur was the loudest mouth against APC in the Western Area? Does APC not recall how Arthur insulted our party’s past and present leadership, including former President Ernest Bai Koroma? APC should think carefully about Arthur Pearce.
Speaking of relevance, Arthur without APC is not capable of winning even a ward seat in his constituency. The history of our elections shows that Western Urban is an APC stronghold. So, what value is Arthur bringing to APC? Arthur is one of those who publicly rallied against APC’s existence and even labeled us, APC members, as violent people. Arthur said many times that APC is not a good party. So, why is he joining us now?
Many young APC members are grumbling right now that Arthur’s decision to join APC is not about love for our party but an attempt to regain the small relevance that he lost after resigning hastily from NGC, the party where his heart is. Our party leaders should know that APC is not a platform for failed, irrelevant politicians like Arthur Pearce. We do not need that distraction at this time. APC has too many young and competent, true red leaders who are in better positions to help our party than Arthur.
Recently, someone who is close to Arthur warned me that Arthur can not and should not be trusted because his political interest is not about serving but being at the center of attention. She went on to share with me that Arthur resigned from NGC because he thought his relevance was threatened.
Well, APC definitely does not have room or time to stroke anyone’s ego. We are a party of service, so Arthur should just go back from where he came.
If Arthur is serious and genuine about joining the APC, then he should be ready to toe the line behind those of us who have suffered for this party. But to give him such relevance is minimizing the APC and showing desperation.
To the APC leadership, do you know that Arthur still adores Yumkella and is open to re-establishing their relationship if given the opportunity? Does Arthur believe in the APC ideology? Does he even know what it is? Would he have declared for APC if Yumkella was running for president or if he was a member of the NGC alliance committee?
APC should focus on rallying the support of those who have been in the trenches, not newcomers who just want to use our party to promote their self-interest. Arthur and his kind should neither be trusted nor allowed to distract our APC party.
*Long live the mighty APC*‼️
*APC back to power‼️*
