Gento Deploys Trucks And Machines to Clean Abacha Street

Mohamed Gento Kamara, the Mayoral candidate of the Sierra Leone People’s Party takes prompt action to clean Abacha Street.

Abacha Street is a famous place in Freetown that housed most street traders. Peddlers around the Freetown axis that ply that route buy from these traders. The street has been use as a trading ground for over decades in the history of Freetown. The gutters of that street are always filled with dirty of the remnants of the sold items of these traders. The street is always dirty despite the hard work done by Freetown City Council to clean it.

Gento, an aspiring Mayor in Freetown, said that he will start working as the Mayor of Freetown from Monday and he sends trucks, machines and big labor force to clean Abacha Street.

This gesture was welcomed by many Sierra Leoneans and the pictures of this showdown were shared all around social media. Commenters were commending the act and say that we need more people to follow such.

This Gento is doing shows clearly that he's a cheap politician Where have you been Since 2018 you never do such only few more days to election you take ur men and trucks to fool the people of Sierra Leone All along you were taking money from Government in road project If you truly loves Sierra Leone why those projects the Government of Sierra Leone use to give you why don't you do it freely without collecting any single cent on now you're acting as if you want to help build our. I hate hypocrites. Why all along you didn't do this if you've genuine intentions for the people of Freetown. This is all a well directed show to fool your stupid supporters. Gento can bring hundreds of trucks to clean Abacha or any other place, it is clear to the blind and visible to the deaf that he is doing that to play with the minds of Freetonians and we will not fall for such chip and unpatriotic politics. Why was he not giving this support to Yvonne Aki Sawyerr, in her first term as a mayor to prove to us that indeed his passion for the city was not bent on politics but rather real intentions to transform the city? In one of their videos with the president on their campagins he categorically said to their supporters that today he will be working as the Mayor of Freetown because he has considered himself as the mayor already but you and i know that those are mere words and he is not the type of person Freetown is looking to serve in such capacity, so he bringing his trucks to clean Abacha is not a suprised to us but we Freetonians will tell him that we believe in politicians that have the passion to transform the city with a genuine intent and that person is Yvonne Aki Sawyerr.
