Communication Strategist at the Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Information and Communication, Imran Sillah has said that Dr. Samura Kamara of the APC is not the answer to the country’s problem.
Sillah said that Kamara has served as Bank Governor and Minister of Finance under the erstwhile government but failed to solve the country’s problem.
“Nobody should suggest that Samura Kamara has the answers to questions (of the country) after 30 years of service in governance.
“It is not only laughable but also ridiculous,” he said referring to the APC candidate’s campaign message of solving the country’s economy.
Sillah acknowledged that the country’s economy is struggling but that the Government has tried to reduce the effect.
He said that the Government is aware of the challenges and that they have done a lot solve them.
He referenced the recruitment of over 10,000 teachers, over 4,000 nurses and an increment in salaries for lecturers.
He also said that the Government has continued the emergency cash transfer for 70,000 vulnerable families.
The Communication Strategist implored Sierra Leoneans to re-elect Julius Maada Bio for another term.
Bio is set to contest against the APC’s Samura Kamara for the second time after defeating him in 2018 twice.
Political analysts have said that the incumbent will face stiff competition from the APC due to the country’s economic woes.
Has tried and have are two different approach
Imran has said it all, except otherwise, but there is nothing new to expect from our APC if he wins the 24th June elections
It will just be as usual, implying Sierra Leoneans goes back 1961.

What kind of approval Mr. Sillah is referring to?
APC party leaders never really got any good ideas and interest or ideas about Good Governance. Trust me they have dozens of good people but they are easily manipulated by their greedy philosophies if they refuse you will be eliminated. People of Sierra Leone please vote your conscience by election incumbent president JBM Bio and VP JB Jalloh to save the SOUL of Mama Sa Lone. Let me quote my former headmistress of Holy Trinity Primary School, kissy road, Freetown, Sierra Leone Mrs Spencer Auber “ A word for the wise is quite sufficient “ end of quote.
Logic will surely tell you that someone with an Economics degree and 30 years of public service would have been much bettter placed to have a real go at tackling Sierra Leone’s Economy than someone who was 20 years jobless and clueless about economic theory. At least, he would not have been misled by an academic Economics Professor with no industry experience. No wonder Bio has just made us the unhappiest country in Africa and the 3rd least happy in the world as he went AWOL on a globe-trotting mission to visit every country in the world at the expense of Sierra Leone’s taxpayers. Any other things he says to the contrary are lies, damn lies, obfuscations, red herrings or smoke-and-mirrors. He keeps referring to Samura wanting to take us back to 1961. Why not put that to the people to vote as to whether they want to rewind their economic clock to 1961. Those Sierra Leoneans of a certain vintage will remember the food self-sufficiency, the valued national currency (1:2), the railway, the Athens of West Africa and the visa-free UK Travel.
Despite Bio’s years of peace studies in the University of Bradford under the tutelage of his Foreign Minister Francis, Sierra Leone has never been more disunited, disjointed and unpeaceful with our rankings in the world’s peace index tumbling. In addition, the human rights record of every regime ( NPRC, SLPP) he has ever been associated with is as atrocious as they come. He has no legs to stand on to defend his record his record in Government.
In the UK majority of the Prime Ministers, including Rishi Sunak, studied Economics at University. He has just appreciated the Britush Pound 25% from near-parity when he took over to about $1.256 to the pound yesterday. Bio has depreciated the Leone 300% from Le7,000 in 2018 to Le28,000 in 2023 during his calamatious 5-year reign.
The problem of APC is that they are just carried away by Samurai kamara been an economist, but he has served this country as a professional economist for over thirty years and still the country was continuesly going backwards. The question is, what has he planned to do for this country that he failed to implement in the past glorious years? Samurai kamara is not the answer for this country ever never. His Excellency president MAADA BIO is the only answer for the progress of mama salon. Just imagine, in the midst of world economic problem coupled with opposition unfortunate misbehavior all over, look at what he has done in just five years. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters, mother’s and father’s, uncle’s and aunties, all well meaning sierra Leoneans, president Bio is our answer, June 4th 2023, let us vote president Bio for betterment in our mother land sierra Leone. NO DISTRACTIONS!!!!
Julius Maada Bio is indeed a specialist in killing innocent people in the country He has no knowledge in managing the economy of the Sierra Leone and so the people of Sierra Leone are suffering economically.
Bio has killed more than five hundred innocent people in this country and of course Bio has admitted that in his last speech in parliament where he said”I Will not kill any more”. This is the only president that has killed innocent people in this country more than any other leader.
President Bio,Fatima Bio and Many of his supporters will have to face the ICC for crimes against humanity.This country will not reelected any killer other wise this nation will set a bad president Besides, Maada Bio is the President that has encouraged more tribal sentiments than any other leader in Sierra Leone. Furthermore, Maada Bio is the only president that has travelled outside the country than any other President in Sierra Leone. This is a way to misusing taxpayers money for himself and his family, what agreedy president.
Moreover, Maada Bio is the only president that uses the taxpayers money to marry his wife in and outside the country. Exploitation of the people of Sierra Leone.
With all this and many more, why do you think the people of Sierra Leone should give Maada Bio second term? Do you really want Maada Bio to kill all the people of Sierra Leone?
