First Time Hijabee Member of Parliament Excited to Serve

The first time Hijabee Kono MP- elect, Sia Mahawa Tommy has on her post on Facebook express willingness to serve her people.

Tommy, triumphed over all odds against her for the MP seat under the ticket of the SLPP.

The 28 years old on her post showed readiness to represent her constituents as she prepared for the first sitting in parliament on Tuesday 18th July, 2023.

Dressed in a blue African wear with black headscarf, the young lawmaker posed in lovely photos posted on Facebook with a caption:

“Today being our first sitting, I am ready to serve as a representative for the people. Committed to advocating for the rights of all Sierra Leoneans, especially youths, women and girls. Together, we can build a better future for our country Sierra Leone 🇸🇱.
