Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai has called on Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) supporters to evaluate presidential flagbearer aspirants based on their achievements prior to holding office.
Speaking to party members in the United States, Dr. Saffa Abdulai emphasized, “Take each one of them outside President’s appointment and ask them what they have done.”
He encouraged party members to focus on tangible community impact rather than titles or government appointments. Dr. Abdulai challenged aspirants to demonstrate real contributions in their villages, towns, and in Freetown before joining the Bio-led administration.
Widely respected for his work in human rights, democratic governance, access to information, and youth-focused humanitarian initiatives, Dr. Saffa Abdulai’s remarks underline the importance of proven leadership and service at the grassroots level.
