The main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Samura Kamara is set to reappear before Justice Adrian Fisher in the ongoing Sierra Leone’s New York Chancery Building matter.

The matter was adjourned by the High Court Judge weeks to the 24 June elections in order to give ample time to the APC Candidate to participate in the political sphere.

But with the elections now over, Kamara and six others will continue to face Justice Fisher.

Kamara is in court with six others on charges related to corruption when he was Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister in the erstwhile administration of President Ernest Bai Koroma.

He is charged with misappropriation of public funds and misleading the principal.

Kamara had longed denied the allegations citing that it is politically motivated in order to smear his image.
