Joseph Conteh, a Councilor affiliated with the Sierra Leone People’s Party, stands accused of engaging in destructive behavior at Koinadugu Chiefdom in Dien Center number 06087, Ward 154, Station 2, Komokelia.

In the presence of security personnel and observers, it is alleged that Conteh destroyed ballot boxes.

According to reports, the morning session at the polling center encountered an issue with incomplete sealing of the boxes provided by the Electoral Commission. In an attempt to resolve this, the officials sought to borrow seals from a neighboring village but were unsuccessful in finding any.

Despite the absence of seals, the electoral process proceeded until Joseph Conteh arrived at the polling center. Upon realizing the absence of seals, Conteh confronted those present and proceeded to destroy the ballot boxes, resulting in all the cast votes being scattered on the floor.
