There are a few possibilities when a guy asks a female out and she says, “I’ll think about it.” I’m sure many of you have had this response from a lady at some point. This response has devastated the hearts of many men.

One thing I’ve found is that some males interpret this as a no since the female isn’t interested. Some people see it as a desire to show themselves correct and win the girl’s heart, but this can trigger a wide range of reactions, and few men consider it.

The first is that most women who answer YES outright are branded as cheap, which is why many have reverted to saying they would consider it. She might have wanted to say yes because she likes you, but she’s terrified to. You can anticipate a positive response from the female.

She may also not want you to feel deceived or rejected. Instead of responding with a flat NO, she says she’ll think about it. Many men don’t expect this response from women, which is why they feel compelled to say so.

Also, She might want to ask her parents if she can date you.

Though it may appear archaic, some parents may have severe dating restrictions for their daughters, which may include requesting permission to date their daughter. Her parents are likely to want to get to know you first in order to determine whether or not you are a trustworthy individual. Make the best first impression you can, then gently ask for their approval, accepting their terms gracefully even if they say “no.”
