Sierra Leone sensational footballer, Alpha Bedor Conteh, has earned a spot on the national team set to confront Sudan and Botswana on March 22nd and 25th, respectively.
Sierra Leone’s national football team will play friendlies against Sudan and Botswana with Alpha Conteh included in the squad due to the many calls for him by the fans.
In his last match for his recently joined club – Fk Neftci, he played for 80 minutes when his side won 1:0 against ZIRA FC.
The left-winger joined Azerbaijan Professional Football Club on a two-and-a-half-year deal with a year additional option.
Conteh started his professional career with Central Parade Football Club in the Sierra Leone Premier League before moving to Israel, Bulgaria, and now Azerbaijan.
The Sierra Leonean-born earlier signed a new deal with Bulgarian top-tier Club, Lokomotiv Plovdiv before moving now to Azerbaijan.
Conteh was playing For FC Hapoel Rishon Lezion in Israel before making this move to Bulgaria.
He made his senior debut for the Sierra Leone National in a friendly match against Algeria.
The Sierra Leonean international Alpha Bedoh Conteh will be in action for the National Team and fans are hoping he will give them a good show given his current form.
The player was featured by coach Amidu Karim in both Sierra Leone games against Ethiopia in Morocco and against Egypt in Liberia in the world qualifier which fans thought were enough experience for him to fit in the squad well.
