Former Sierra Leone’s fastest track and field Athlete, Maggie Barrie has tied the knot with her husband Zack Polk today 2nd September 2023.

Barrie bid Farewell to the tracks in February 2022, when she realized that it is time for her to move on with her life.

The American based athlete,200m and 400m Record holder was ended by a young Sierra Leone Female athlete Fatmata Awolo. Awolo is the current holder of the fastest female sprinter record in Sierra Leone as she clocks a time of 11.34 seconds to beat Maggie Barrie’s record.
