Sierra Leone international Augustine Williams put on a show for Indy Eleven on Saturday night, scoring a hat trick to lead his team to a dominant 4-0 victory over Miami FC at Carroll Stadium.

The forward’s three goals came in a blistering 13-minute span in the second half, boosting his season total to eight. Williams now sits second on the team’s scoring list behind Jack Blake.

With his impressive performance, Williams moved into a tie for sixth all-time in the USL Championship Top Ten list with 74 career goals. He is just one goal away from surpassing his teammate Sebastian Guenzatti.

Williams became the third player in Indy Eleven’s history to achieve a hat trick, following in the footsteps of Manuel Arteaga and Eamon Zayed.

The team’s four-goal outburst in the second half tied a franchise record. Jack Blake opened the scoring with a penalty kick in the 62nd minute, marking his sixth successful penalty kick of the season. Goalie Hunter Sulte recorded one save and earned his seventh clean sheet of the year.
