Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara has reaffirmed his commitment to improving football infrastructure in Sierra Leone with the ongoing construction of a modern 435-seater pavilion at the SLFA Technical Centre in Kingtom, Freetown.
Kamara, alongside members of the SLFA Executive Committee, inspected the facility as construction on Thursday continues towards completion.
The inspection offered the SLFA leadership an opportunity to assess the progress of the project, which has now reached an advanced stage, with the pavilion taking its full shape and construction moving into the final phase.

The facility is being constructed through a personal donation by President Babadi Kamara, reflecting his stated commitment to supporting the development of football beyond competitions and into infrastructure.
When completed, the 435-seat pavilion is expected to provide a modern and comfortable viewing area for football supporters, officials and other stakeholders attending matches and activities at the Technical Centre.

Following the inspection, President Kamara and the Executive Committee expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, while reiterating the administration’s commitment to prioritising infrastructure development as part of efforts to create a better environment for football in Sierra Leone.
