The home-based delegation of the Sierra Leone Senior Male Football, Leone Stars constituting 9 players and 10 officials has today Wednesday, October 11 safely touched down at the Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca ahead of a week long camping in Morocco in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Africa Qualification.
A total of 16 foreign-based players and 1 official are expected to arrive in camp latest tomorrow Thursday October 12.
While in camp, the team will engage in two friendly matches against Benin and Somalia on the 14th and 17th October respectively, which is in preparation for the start of the World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Egypt in November this year.
It has taken too long we have been wishing you good luck but nothing to show pls Mr coach your appointment is a dissapointment to Sierra Leone please prove us wrong. The lads we will always continue to support you though we are always discouraged.
