Bolton Wanderers are willing to listen to offers for Striker Amadou Bakayoko after the Sierra Leone international struggled to nail down a first-team place this season at Wanderers.
Bakayoko has been a minor figure this season and has lost his taste to compete with Jon Bodvarrson and Afolayan for first place in Wanderers.
Therefore, he will look for a new club when the January windows open with Bolton willing to let him leave, Salford city is understood to be at the front of the top to sign him in the transfer window.
The 27-year-old scored 13 goals since arriving on a free transfer from Coventry city in the summer of 2022 but has started five games in the league this season, scoring just one goal.
Salford city believes they can sign him in the transfer window to replace their striker Brandon Thomas who joined West Brom in the summer.
