The Sierra Leone Premier League Board held a meeting earlier this week in preparation for the second leg of the 2022-2023 season.
During the meeting, it was disclosed that the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) will provide the sum of Le 1 billion as support to the board.
The Board and Premier League clubs agree that each team would play twice a week.
The Director of Competition, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay admonished the Board to ensure that the league ends before the start of July. He said that this could enable Sierra Leonean clubs to participate in CAF competitions.
Bo Rangers is currently leading the table with Mighty Blackpool in second place.
East End Lions and Ports Authority performed below par in the first rounds with the former axing their manager before the end of the first leg.
