Morlai Ibrahim Kamara The Africell 2023 Marathon, held on December 10, was a resounding success, attracting a large and diverse group of participants.
The event was graced by the presence of prominent figures, including British High Commissioner Lisa Chesney, Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr, Asmaa James, and Ellen Keister.
The marathon participants, ranging from seasoned athletes to enthusiastic first-timers, braved the challenging course through the streets of Freetown. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable, as runners cheered each other on and spectators lined the streets to witness the spectacle.
