The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has banned the Sierra Leone National Stadium from participating in African and International competitions with immediate effect.
An official of the CAF who spoke to Sierraloaded said the Sierra Leone National Stadium lacks basic facilities required for hosting International matches.
Meanwhile, a source in the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) said the next AFCON qualifier between the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and the Crocodiles of Benin which was supposed to be hosted in Freetown in March will now hold in either Guinea or Liberia.
