Following his decision to leave the club weeks ago, the newly recruited CF Montreal Coach, Hernán Losada is hoping to retain veteran Sierra Leone striker, Kai Kamara in the squad as the team prepares to face the U.S Major League Soccer kick-off.

The Coach has already engaged the striker on his return to Montreal after Kamara’s plans to leave the organization since he demanded a transaction from the club’s management and with his second week of training camp at the helm of the team, Losada is pleased with his performances.

In his statement of Kai Kamara reuniting with teammates he maintained that: “Kei has just returned to Montreal and he must now submit to the return to action protocol before reuniting with his teammates.”

It is also revealed that, they have already got several discussions the previous week on the matter making the grounds and the expected outcome from the Coach is for Kai Kamara to stay.

’Kei arrived yesterday. He is still a player in our team. He will do all the MLS protocol checks and we hope he will be with us on the pitch next week. We’ll see what happens,” Losada explained.
