Krootown Road has defeated Kroo bay Community 3-0 in The Central one football Association (COFA) Inter-Community League on Tuesday 23, January 2024.

Kwame Quee secured a brace for KTR as Musa Noah Kamara[Tombo] failed to convert a penalty in the first half of play.

KTR eliminated their neighbors to Propel to the next stage of the Competition  tension between supporters of the two communities .

Meanwhile, Leone Stars Sports Ambassador, Christian Dauda earlier hosted a meeting on Monday 15th January 2024, at the COFA Pavillion to facilitate Mediation between the two Communities ahead of the anticipated derby clash.

In recent times, there were recent clashes between the two Communities which led to the intervention of the Sierra Leone Police ahead of their derby match . This led to the postponement of the said match that took place yesterday.

The said meeting presented a significant opportunity for all stakeholders to come together and address the issues that led to the conflict
