The General Manager of Dreams FC,  Ameenu Shadow has revealed their final Position concerning the match venue for the 2nd leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary match against FC Kallon in a letter addressed to the Head of Competitions at the CAF.

According to the said letter,  after what appears to be an unending debate,  they emphasized that they will not grant FC Kallon consent to have the aforesaid match played at their preferred venue in Bo City.

Dreams FC Further seek for an alternate Venue that meets the requirements and regulations governing the said Competition.

In a strategic move to address concerns raised by their Ghanaian opponents, FC Kallon recently announced a change in the venue for their upcoming home match against Dreams FC (Ghana) in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round

The Ghanaian side won in Accra by 2 goals to 1 in the first leg.

Originally scheduled to take place at the Southern Arena in Bo, Sierra Leone, the match will now be held at the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Stadium in Monrovia, Liberia.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Manager of Dreams FC Winfred Dormon spoke to the media that the pressure is on FC Kallon to defeat them in the return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round.  He affirmed that they have gotten their win and he is impressed with their performance.

I  believe that when we go there they will have to open up which we can also take our chances, we can also take the game to them. In the second leg we have to make sure they score. I believe we have to change our approach and also change the strategy of the team maybe more players will come to play the game. The way we were messing our chances was very frustrating. We have to go back and also do the review. The Pressure is on FC Kallon to beat us but we have to make sure we have the result to qualify,” He Said.

It’s important to note that the date of the match remains unchanged, and it will still be held on the 30th of September 2023.
