The first batch of the Sierra Leone Female Cricket team has successfully arrived in Freetown after competing at the T20i Tournament in Lagos, Nigeria.

The Ladies Patriot put up a superb performance finishing in third place after defeating Cameroon by 9 wickets in their final match.

The team also returned home with nine titles including best bowler won by Alice Fillie, and second best player of the tournament won by Janet Kowa among others.

The final batch of six including the Chairman of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association Francis Trevor Samura, Head Coach Kenneth Masinga, three remaining players, and the media representative will arrive later on Wednesday.
