Guinean top-tier club Hafia FC has officially signed Sierra Leonean midfielder Samuel Kwaku Bekoe from East End Lions on a two-year deal.
Hafia Football Club is a football club based in Conakry, Guinea. Founded in 1951, the team was known as Conakry II in the 1960s and won three titles under that name. Hafia have won 15 league titles overall, having dominated in the 1960s and 70s, but their last league title came in 1985. The 1970s were a golden decade for Hafia FC when they dominated African football, winning the African Cup of Champions Clubs three times, in 1972, 1975, and 1977.
Samuel Kwaku Bekoe is set to wave goodbye to Sierra Leone football after signing this two-year deal with Guinean top-flight club Hafia FC.
Furthermore, the midfielder’s football journey has been from FC Johnasen to East End Lions, where he plays currently as a club captain as well, a Loan to the Bo Rangers football club, and now Hafia FC.
The midfielder brings creativity and physical presence to the squad and is eligible to feature in the CAF Confederation Cup as Hafia FC aims for continental success.
