In a bid to qualify Sierra Leone to the 2023 Nations Cup in Ivory Coast, Leone Stars Coach John  is expected to introduce new faces in the  Squad.

The Sierra Leone  Football Association currently Embarks on  preparation for the forthcoming international friendly matches, against Liberia, Togo and Congo Brazzavile

A few days ago, the FA President Thomas Daddy Brima reveals in a WhatsApp group that they are working on inviting about 12 boys who have shown Interest to play for Sierra Leone .

Leone Stars will be playing against Togo, Liberia and Congo Brazzaville to showcase the strength of the squad ahead of the AFCON 2023 qualifiers which will commence in June.

 

 

Some of the new faces that may likely make it to Turkey are 31-years-old Goalkeeper, Abdul Bilal Hamid of DC United in The MLS, Center Forward-18-year-old Mohamed Sankoh of VB Stuttgart in Bundesliga2, Defending Midfielder, Tyress Fornah 22, of Nottingham Forest-now on loan to Shrewsbury Town, Attacking Midfielder, John Peter Sesay 18, of Darmstadt 98 in the Bundesliga2 and Genoa Forward Yaya Kallon.
