Head Coach of the Leone Stars veterans football club a first division side in the over 35 years league in England Ibrahim Junior Parade Koroma has stated that through the late Lamin Junior Tumbu Conteh foundation he will be providing football equipment and educational support to street children in Sierra Leone.

Junior Parade as he is fondly called, was the best player during the 1993 Zone II tournament hosted in Freetown also the year when Sierra Leone won its first football trophy noting “this year’s Christmas Day is just an introduction of the foundation, and I already have committed people who are ready to help me succeed in this course of celebrating our football legend” he disclosed to NewsFeed Sierra Leone.

He concluded that after the official launch of the foundation in 2023 among its key priorities is to support street children with football equipment including kits, boots, shin guards as well as educational assistance “the motive of the organisation is to keep alive the legacies of the man I referred to as my twin brother, he grew up in the street that’s why the foundation will be supporting street children so that it will help us as a nation to find the next Tumbu, also even though the late man didn’t acquire education, the foundation will be providing educational assistance to tell them that football goes along with education as in my situation I had a successful football career and as well I’m proud to have attended one of the best schools in Sierra Leone Albert Academy” Parade ascribed.
