The league stated that both the Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards are designed to reflect excellence on the pitch while maintaining credibility in the selection process.
According to the league, nominations for the Player of the Month award are based on performances recorded throughout the month, including goals, assists, clean sheets, and overall match influence, supported by detailed statistical analysis.
Voting is divided between fans and professionals, with supporters contributing 10 percent of the total vote through the league’s official social media platforms, while an expert panel of independent football analysts and industry professionals accounts for 90 percent.
The player with the highest combined score from both voting groups is declared the winner, a system the league says ensures that professional judgment and statistical performance carry greater weight while still allowing meaningful fan involvement.
Similarly, the Manager of the Month award follows the same structure. Shortlisted managers are assessed based on team results, tactical decisions, and their ability to manage challenges such as injuries and congested fixtures.
Fan votes again account for 10 percent, while the expert panel contributes 90 percent, with the overall winner determined by the highest combined score.
The league emphasized that allocating a majority share of the decision-making process to experts helps ensure that the awards are grounded in professional analysis rather than popularity.
At the same time, it noted that the inclusion of fan voting maintains supporter engagement and strengthens the connection between the league and its audience.

For instance, strikers are assessed based on goals and overall attacking influence, goalkeepers on clean sheets and saves, while managers are evaluated on match outcomes and tactical effectiveness.
